I researched so many stereos and finally settled on the JVC NT3HDT. I made a list of all the features I wanted in my new stereo, and the JVC NT3HDT met each one. I was looking for a stereo that included built-in Bluetooth, HD radio, navigation, lifetime traffic updates, iPod/iPhone control, SD card slot, USB port, speed alerts, DVD player, and voice control. I was not interested in XM radio since I do not subscribe to the service. The only place where the unit fell short was that there wasn't any voice control. I went to a local installer and had the stereo installed along with a Boyo VTL420 backup camera. I had already read the online manual on JVC so I put it to the test.
I read previous reviews where there were complaints about the startup time. I see no lag. I guess because as soon as I start up the car I am usually backing out of my garage or a parking space so the backup camera comes... Read more
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Awesome stereo for about what you'd pay retail., February 9, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: JVC Mobile Regular KWNT3HD Navigation Head Unit with HD Radio (Electronics) I love this radio/ipod player/gps/dvd player/ etc. etc. etc. I bought this radio from Amazon because of everything it offered at a really good price. However when I got it I read through the instructions and knew I had to have a professional installer (I've installed many radio head units and this one comes with so much stuff I knew the headache that would ensue would be worth the $ to have someone else do it) which only cost $200 bucks. Not bad considering everything that has to be done, placing the GPS antenna, tapping the the emergency brake, tapping the speedometer, tapping the reverse lights, placing the cell phone mic, etc. If you buy this plan on spending at least $200 on installation. Now on to the fun stuff it is AWESOME! It's GPS is great and re-routes you when there is traffic, saves common destinations and even tells you when your speeding (you can change this setting). The HD Radio is crystal clear as well as IPOD and Bluetooth audio. I hook up my iPhone and mostly listen... Read more
