- Seamlessly work with AutoCAD -DXF/DWG 3D object files. Choose from several 3D Import Options, use step rotation on an X, Y, or Z axis, edit and enhance color, scale, light source, and preview in Wireframe.
- Create custom pen strokes made from symbols. Draw with these repeated symbol motifs as you would with any other digital pen stroke. Add and create symbols
- Join and rejoin segmented objects
- Fill or color the intersections of multiple vector objects with a single click. Simply select an area defined by overlapping line graphics to apply a fill ink. This avoids having to redraw these regions as standalone objects first.
- Accurately scale simple or composite vector objects based on area or perimeter values. Just enter a value in the Scale Options dialog box, choose Percentage or Absolute, and click a different origin point if desired. You can even scale a pen weight.

Canvas 12, November 28, 2011 This review is from: Canvas 12 Full (DVD Case) (CD-ROM) Canvas software is an oddball. It'll import 3D models from the Autocad format and adjust the display of them for publishing(such as xyz axis rotation, lighting, & coloring). Canvas will also import and export most any 2D format I can think of except MNG and ORA. Canvas has separate window sets to make things like illustration, desktop publishing, and animation easier. Canvas will save animations as AVI if you'd rather use a format other than animated GIF. Canvas has digital photoediting tools, digital illustration tools, diagramming tools, among many others. The newer version of Canvas 12 even has a GIS plugin for the serious mapping types. The problem is, I don't really know where this software falls in a category, as in one program Canvas 12 does what a small Adobe Suite of Programs would do. It's not photoshop, it's not illustrator, it's not indesign, it's not adobe acrobat. On the other hand... many things I can do in each of these programs I can do in Canvas 12. It... Read more
