This review is from: Garmin aera 510 Color Touchscreen Aviation GPS (Americas) (Electronics) Using this on my Cessna yoke as a back-up GPS. Has current terrain DB/warning which the plane GPS doesn't have. I used it to replace a Garmin 295. I also have a Samsung 10.1 tablet with 32GB storage and wifi and Droid3 phone (both from Verizon) loaded with aviation maps similar to an iPad. Earnest "137AES" (Oklahoma City, OK) - See all my reviews    This review is from: Garmin aera 510 Color Touchscreen Aviation GPS (Americas) (Electronics) I have owned numerous Garmin GPS units and was excited to try an aviation version of their product. Aviation: The aviation part is okay. You can search for the closest airport but there is no direct to button. Weather: This is a nice feature, though not a cheap monthly payment. There is no way to change the speed of the animation (which is miserably slow). Also, it takes forever to get enough history in it to animate anything. Auto: I'm impressed with this part. Compared to the 350 and 255W, this one blows them away. Overall, this is an okay unit.
